This lovely heirloom frisee-style endive has curly ruffled leaves that make a great addition to gourmet salads. Heads reach 12-15″ in diameter. Endive and Escarole or members of the chicory genus of plants. Endive tends to have narrow, curly leaves Frisee while Escarole have broader leaves. These varieties are particularly well-suited for cutting as they re-grow readily. Great for both spring and fall plantings.
